Original. Les Maitres de l'Affiche PL. 118. Presented in a 16" x 20" acid free archival museum mat.
Moreau-Nelaton, an important impressionist painter, illustrator and ceramicist created this poster to advertise the play, "The Nativity" by the abbe Jouin, parish priest of St. Medard. The artist's initials: E.M.N. have been placed within the moon in the upper left corner along with a 9 and 7 indicating the year. This maitre plate is in good condition, and it has been archivally matted.
