Original black and white Fortune Magazine, 1934 ad for SPUD Menthol Cigarettes. Archival linen backed and ready to frame. Size 10.75” x 14. We have made sure that this SPUD Cigarette advertisement will survive in contrast to today’s smoking stigmas.
The cigarette pack in color looked like: "Spud Menthol Cooled Cigarettes", on the front of the package there is lime green square with "Spud" written on top in blue and outlined in gold. Below in red "Menthol Cooled' is written, and below that in blue "Cigarettes" is written. The Axton-Fisher Tobacco Co. Inc./ Louisville, KY. U.S.A."
