Original THE AULT & WIBORG CO.poster created by master artist Will Bradley. This is 1 of about 20 pieces that he created for the Ault and Wiborg Company. Acid-free archival linen backed in mint condition; ready to frame. This is one of the early Will Bradley images that is very difficult to find today; let alone in excellent condition. Presented in a museum acid-free mat, suitable for framing.
Printing ink companies commissioned high quality and artistic advertisments to demonstrate their ink colors. These only appeared in Printing Industry publications and are very scarce today. Fine example of Art Nouveau American color lithography. This ad is by Will Bradley, perhaps the finest American Art Nouveau poster artist, one of his best for the series.
The Ault & Wiborg Company, a manufacturer of printing inks and dry color dyes and pigments, was established in 1878 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The company was formed by Levi Addison Ault and Frank Bestow Wiborg.
To help with the color patterns of this image; the print features the following colors: lavender Tint, Purple, Orange, Dark Greeen, Vermilion and Black.
