Original vintage CALAIS Chemin de Fer du Nord antique French travel poster. Printer: Imp. Bonnet, Calais. Currently we don't have very much information about the artist Jeanne Poye-Maillard (Poyè-Maillard Jeanne).. The poster has had some restoration in the brown center section at the bottom on this poster up to the word 'son' in the bottom as a result of a tear. The top corners have had some tack homes restored during linen backing. Otherwise this rare image presents itself in a very favorable condition. The City of Calais known for its port, the beaches and lace work. ("Its port. Its beach. Its lace,")
