Walter Ernest Tittle

Tittle studied at the New York School of Art and Art Students League under Chase, Henri, and Mora. As well as an artist, he was also a writer who contributed to Century magazine, Scribner's, and Illustrated London News.  In the 1950s he was in Danbury, Connecticut and later settled on the Monterey Peninsula.  

Exhibited:  National Academy of Design; Royal Society of Artists (London); National Arts Club, 1931; California Printmaker Society, 1932; Chicago Society of Etchers, 1934; Corcoran Gallery (Washington, DC) 1937.
