Rex Werner Biography
He joined Trans World Airlines in March of 1942 in the Movie Department and in 1943 moved to Advertising.

From 1947 to 1964 he was the TWA Art Director becoming Director of Corporate Design in 1964 and later Vice President of Design.   He was an avid artist creating many “dioramas” which rival the best computer animation of today.  His work comprised the entirety of the 1949 TWA calendar.

He apparently also invented the TWA logo
