Loren Shaw Hellige Biography
Loren Shaw Hellige is an artist of international acclaim. She uses a multitude of media and specializes in personalized interior and exterior murals, as well as portraits on canvas.


Loren does murals that beautify as well as give an area a sense of identity. Public art is an important aspect of a community. It is enjoyed by everyone. Loren’s murals say much about the area in which they dwell.


Loren created her most recent murals in Laguna Beach, CA., in the Laguna Riveria Hotel.  She also recently completed a large mural in the Quad Cities in downtown Rock Island.  The 19th Century Wall of Fame, depicts persons who have had a major influence on shaping and developing early Rock Island. This mural is approximately a half city block long.
