Edgard Derouet Biography

This artist is often misrepresented as Edgar vs Edgard in several biographies.
He is often associated with Charles Lesacq (1909 - 1940) who helped create many of the Loterie Nationale French posters.

Derouet won an award for Best Poster of the Year in 1936 and was featured at the International Exposition in Paris, France in 1937.

Charles Lesacq (1909-1940) was a French artist best known for his French National Lottery poster collaborations with Edgar Derouet. There is little information on the artist.
