David J. Maenza was an American Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1933.
The maker's first piece to be offered at auction was "Terence Hill am Set von "Vier für ein Ave Maria"" at Koller Zurich in 2017.

David J. Maenza, a Chicago photographer, took countless photos for postcards and posters, corporate newsletters and calendars, books and brochures.   Among his clients were sports teams, tourism bureaus, travel agencies and magazines, as well as retail wholesalers. As his business grew, he hired other photographers to work for him.

"He was a great example of a self-made man with loads of raw talent," said longtime friend and Chicago adman Vince Kamin, who worked for Mr. Maenza in the 1960s. "Dave had this whole vision of what he wanted to do in life. His entrepreneurial spirit was constantly percolating, and he had real gumption in how he plied his craft."

In the 1960s, Mr. Maenza started his own business, A-Stock Photo Agency.
