"Alice Hendee Price was born in 1889 in Arcadia, Iowa.  She resided in Bronxville, New York.  She studied at Kansas City AI; NAD in New York; NY School of Fine & Applied Art (with a scholarship); with Wayman Adams as well as Jerry Farnsworth.

She exhibited her work in WFNY, 1939; Arch. Lg. (solo); Pen & Brush Cl. (solo); NAC; Hudson Valley AA; Westchester County Art Project; Bronxville Women's Cl., 1956 (solo).

Awards: prizes, Hudson Valley AA, 1946; Westchester County Art Project, 1949, 1954-55; Crestwood, 1952; Pen & Brush Club, 1955; Bronxville Women's Cl., 1956 (solo).

She was a member of the Hudson Valley AA and Pen & Brush Club.  Her work includes National Academy of Design; murals, triptych, Chapel, Christ Church, in Bronxville.  She died in 1969 in Bronxville, New York."
