AKI KURODA is a Japanese painter based in Paris, France. Aki Kuroda, well known for his silhouettes and figures painted with line strokes, which has been considered like a symbol of “passage” to the labyrinth. Against the tradition of art hierarchy, Aki Kuroda was highly approved as the youngest artist in Japan, who held his solo exhibitions in The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo in 1993 and The National Museum of Art,Osaka in 1994. |
