Original WW1 poster: YMCA One of the Thousand, Horizontal, YMCA Girls in France. Original World War 1 antique vintage poster. Linen backed. Ready to frame. Artist: Neysa McMein, one of the few female WW1 artists.
This poster has had restoration of tears that were fixed and restored during linen backing. A few spots, as shown with minor loss or ink on the paper. B condition, but presents very well.
Classic image of YMCA girl in cape and uniform with steaming cup of coffee and books in hand, in front of looming YMCA symbol. "One of the thousand YMCA girls in France." United War Work Campaign. features young girl in uniform holding book in one hand and hot coffee in other.
The helping hand of the Y.M.C.A. depicted by an oversize triangle and lettering behind the woman makes this image stand out.
