Floreal. Between 1895 and 1896, Lautrec created 16 images fora series of sheet music for his friend, the composer and bassoonist, Desire Dihau. The series was titled Melodies de Desire Dihau. Printed with black ink on cream wove paper. 14 x 11 in

The first published edition of c. 250 impressions was printed as a cover for sheet music by Desiré Dihau; our impression from the 1935 reprint published by H. Lefebvre, Paris is one of 100 impressions in black ink on wove paper 325x250mm without the sheet music on the verso

Original. Presented in a 16" x 20" acid free archival museum mat. One of the collection of lithograph song sheet covers, Paris, ca 1895. The song series that Toulouse-Lautrec illustrated were for his friend the composer and bassonist Darius Dihau. All signed in the stones
