Original. Linen backed. The cover to "Ars et Labor" magazine, which reviews music and musicians monthly. This cover features a woman in a victorian dress, seated before a piano, a gentalman stands behind her studying her playing. The background is a cool olive green, which filters its way into the shadowing on the people's clothing. Warm oranges highlight the poeple's clothes, that then give way to black shading. This coloring effect reminds the viewer of the room being lit by candles, and makes this image warm and inviting.
