Original “Buick Care Keeps Buicks Best” 1940s vintage automobile poster. Conservation linen backed in excellent condition, ready to frame. Lithograph without an artist indicated.

The poster features a Buick owner sitting at his desk dreaming of fishing. Because Buick takes care of the car for tune up, brakes, lubricare, lights and steering allows his dream to proceed until he is on his boat fishing. It must be a dream to drive a Buick in the 1940s.

The division's founder, David Dunbar Buick was building gasoline engines by 1899, and his engineer, Walter L. Marr, built the first automobile to be called a Buick between 1899 and 1900. But Buick traditionally dates its beginnings to 1903. This puts the Buick automobile at 118 years old.

This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
