This island hold the battlefield of Genpei.. The Genpei War (1180-1185 CE), also known as the Taira-Minamoto War. I believe this island is: Shimonoseki. The poster indicates that this is declared as a national treasure. The final stand-off in the Genpei War took place in the Shimonoseki Strait between Honshu and Kyushu at Dannoura where the Seto Inland Sea spills out through the narrow channel into the Japan Sea.

The poster points out additional items as Akamu Shrine, Soryu Island, Kuu Hot Springs and aquarium.

Anyone with a more accurate translation, please let us know.
