Linen backed, ready to frame. Note that this the rare large size in a 22" x 16" format (not the 8" x 10') The name "Radiant Youth" is printed along the center bottom cream panel. Litho: U.S.A.
Armstrong is known as the father of the American pinup.
Some foxing along the bottom where the calendar may have been attached. Slight wearing along the outside boarder.
Pastel yellow, cream, and medium blue in design. The small format 8 x 10 has a read back ground. This larger version has a somewhat 'golden' glow background.
Armstrong built a reputation as a “pretty girl” illustrator. In 2016, Armstrong was inducted into the Hall of Fame Inductee
