FORTUNE March 1937, size 11" x 14"; 1937; artist: A. M. Cassandre; archival linen backed small format poster. Signed and dated in the plate, lower left. Original magazine cover, ready to frame.
The Great Art Deco Master Cassandre designed the cover for Fortune Magazine as well as small poster designs that were never published. Each image was a project design for Industry. Some of the other great artists that were selected to create covers are some of the best graphic artists commissioned included Fred Ludekens, Erik Nitsche, Joseph Binder, and A. M. Cassandre.
