Original linen-backed original French antique poster: le "Flip" Soap.
This fun image shows the tube of 'Flip" pushing away the shaving bowl, towel, and shaving brush. If you use this product you can shave without water, soap, or a towel. Better and faster.
This is currently the only documented copy of this rare poster to exist.
Archival linen backed original poster and ready to frame.in very good condition. This poster is a B - B+ where the border was restored during linen-backing.
Because this poster is so rare, there is very little information about this obscure product for shaving. The large tube of Le Flip is shown sweeping away all the normal items required for shaving. It may have been a 'snake oil' product that was created but that didn't succeed, or otherwise, we would have more information about this product.
Printer: ATELIER R. PICHON and could have been the artist as well.
