The Silver Jubilee was the LNER's first streamlined train, followed soon after by the Coronation. "These trains, with their own locomotives and carriages, were highly distinctive and extremely popular. They generated an enormous amount of publicity material, including many posters" (Railway pp. 25-26). Railway p. 25, Furness vol. 2 p. 233.
