Original Air France "Far - East" original travel poster by artist Guy Georget; under the artistic direction of Jean Carlu. Conservation linen-backed and ready to frame. This difficult-to-find original Air France poster was printed in Frame by Bedos & Cie, Paris. Restored tear in bottom and touched up in outer white border. Presents very well.
The center focal point is a pagoda-shaped building with three tall bamboo spears growing up the left side. A windsock fish is flying in the air about the building. Bright and vibrant orange and greens with contrasting dark red, grey, and black bring this vintage original poster to life.
The tear at the bottom was so perfectly restored that it took me a while to find it. Otherwise, this fabulous poster has no paper loss, fading, or other damage. This is a beautiful original Air France poster printed in 1956.
