Juan Reus Parra was born in 1912 in Valencia, where he became a well-known painter, draftsman and graphic designer of bullfighting.
Bullfighting is a traditional event in Spain that features a charging bull and a well-dressed matador. Historically, the bullfight was the main spectator sport in Spain with a large number of famous matadors reigning as national heroes.
At the bottom portion of the poster reads "Espagne - Courses De Taureaux" which is French for "Spain - Bullfighting".
