Original Swedish poster:NOD LOGNEN ( Nödläge) Translated it would mean "distressed" as the title of the silent movie film. That is not the US name of the movie. Most US movies made it to Europe for exhibition a few years after they were shown in the USA as: JUST AROUND THE CORNER (1924). This poster is linen backed, a 1922 rare full lithographic very early movie poster.
Swedish star Sie Holmqvist (aka Sigrid Holmquist) was brought to the States and given the nickname “The Swedish Mary Pickford,” a title, as might be expected, she despised. Naturally she would rather have been known for her own talents rather than being seen as a knockoff of the biggest star in America.
Original and in excellent condition. Featuring Sweden's version of Mary Pickford. The silent cinema timeline usually spans from about 1891 to 1929.
