Frances Luis Mora Biography

He was born in Uruguay, moving to the US as a boy. His father was a sculptor. He became an illustrator in the late 1800s, Mora worked for major magazine such as Collier's, Sunday Magazine, Ladies' Home Journal, Century, Harper's, as well as books. His portrait of President Harding is in the White House. A gifted artist, painter and illustrator.
