C. R. Macauley Biography
a.k.a. Charles Raymond Macauley / Charles Raymond McAuley / Charle R. Macauley  was an American cartoonist and illustrator. He was also involved in the film business

He received the 1930 Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning for his 1929 cartoon "Paying for a Dead Horse".
He had the most flattering reputation in the art world. He has been a regular contributor to “Puck”, “Judge” and “Truth” .
His drawings are marked by their truthfulness to nature.
