Painter as well as did a limited number of posters in the earlier 1900's The exposure “Beauvais & arts of the Beautiful-Time” currently present at the Town hall (Rooms 5 and 6, Rez-de-chaussée) part of the collections of the City, through about thirty works of four local artists: Diogène Maillart, Henri Brispot, Paul-Léonard Denoyelle and Antoine-Louis Manceaux. Painters in Beauvais with the threshold of XXè century, these artists are particularly illustrated within the Company of the Friends of Arts of Oise. This exposure aims at recalling the history and the activities of this institution which contributed to the blooming of arts and the cultural radiation of the Beauvaisienne city. “Beauvais & arts of the Beautiful-Time” is also the occasion to evoke the life of these painters Beauvaisiens, characters then recognized beyond the borders of the area.
