John Gallucci, a member of the American Watercolor Society,
has painted for years in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. He has exhibited in A.W.S. annuals, the National Academy of design annuals, the Adirondack National Exhibit of American Watercolors, many one-man shows, and has lectured and demonstrated for art groups. Annually he has conducted painting workshops throughout the northeast in Lake Placid, NY, Lake George, NY; the Thousand Islands, NY; Syracuse, NY; Washington, DC; the Maine Coast; Plattsburgh, NY; Essex, NY; and Skidmore College in Saratoga, NY. His work, watercolors, oils, and murals are represented in private and public places. They include United Technologies plants in East Hartford, CT and North Berwick, ME; The Key Corp., Albany, NY; Bridgewater State College and Bristol Community College in MA; Ocean Data, Albany, NY; Lenox Machine Co., Lenox, MA. In Glens Falls NY - Adirondack Community College, the Glens Falls Civic Center, the Glens Falls Medical Center, the Church of the Messiah, the Church of St. Michael in Colonie, NY. In Lake Placid, NY - the Holiday Inn; Arthur Young Corp., Cleveland, OH and United Bank in Hartford, CT. For the 1980 Winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, NY, he designed three posters all distributed internationally. John has a B.F.A. from Syracuse University, an M.A. from N.Y.U., and has spent a year studying in Rome, Italy as a Ford Fellow.
