Forain created this poster to announce the second bicycle show, an exhibition of the cycles and their parts. The exhibition was held in October 1894, at the Palace of Industry in Paris. It is undoubtedly one of Forain's best posters, an artist more well known for his work in humor magazines like ''Le Rire.''
