Designed pop zodiac posters in the late 1960's.
Graduates of the University of the Arts, Joe and Gerry have had a long and diverse career, working as a team called Simboli Design.
Joe represented the United States in an international poster competition for the United Nations. Gerry was an art consultant for the world-famous Longwood Gardens, creating posters, books, a ten-nation Worldfare display and two Christmas displays.
Colorful, graphic zodiac posters, from 1969, were licensed to a well known fashion designer, Paul Smith, for a line of casual clothes.
After graduating from the University of the Arts, Joe Simboli opened a freelance studio in Philadelphia. After working as an art director for Ladies Home Journal and an advertising agency, Gerry joined him at Simboli Design and they began a career in design that has taken many forms.
