This poster advocates bicycles for military use. Pichat was a painter who specialized in historic scenes and military portraits, hence a bicycle company wishing to be associated in the public's mind with the Army evidently figured it would enhance their prestige to have a poster done by him. The poster is archivally mounted on linen and it is in excellent condition. |
