||Framed, Very Rare original Carnival poster by the artist Ludwig Lutz Ehrenberger (1876-1950). This is the large format version of this poster; and is extremelly rare. Created for Fasching in Munich, Germany 1939 this lithograph is also printed with gold leaf foiling in the Roman gladiator head in the back and the 1939 date. A more than fabulous design for Fasching in Munich Germany. This art deco diva is toasting her champagne before Lent with a backdrop of a female Roman goddess. The twin bell towers of downtown Munich are part of the gold foil that covers the goddess as well as the lower bottom panel. A very rare German poster in excellent condition. This is 'carnival' in 1939 - the last year to be celebrated until after World War II ended. Printed by: Plakatdruck Munchen (Munich).
