Original linen backed travel poster by ship. Messageries Maritimes. Below it reads: "Levant; Ocean Indien; Extreme - Orient; Oceanie - Australie; Afrique du Sud". Excellent condition. Along the bottom of this shipping vintage poster it features a scene from the Extreme Orient with their boat floating next to the large ship and a young person with two wicker baskets watching the whole scene. Brenet was a well known Marine painter and designed many posters for Messageries Maritimes. |
