Original vintage vintage travel poster United Air Lines New York. This original vintage travel poster features a river boat crusing on a basically white background. A poster commissioned in 1967 by United Air Lines and realized by Jebray in a style typical of the period. The Staten Island Ferry provides 20 million people a year with ferry service between St. George on Staten Island and Whitehall Street in lower Manhattan. The ferry is the only non-vehicular mode of transportation between Staten Island and Manhattan. One guide book calls it "One of the world's greatest (and shortest) water voyages." |
