A French travel poster for the coast of Normandy. The "Baie du Mont. St. Michel" is touted here with its phenomenal buttressed abbey seen in the background and the names of surrounding coastal towns lettered charmingly on Japanese lanterns. It is the strong forms of the tourist and her richly-colored accessories, however that attract our attention. Bergevin knew the area well; Avranches is the town where he was born and died.
