An original antique vintage poster for the fable about the hare and the tortoise. This old children's fable is a horizontal design that features a small pink castle in the background as the hare racing along a pond to catch up with the the tortoise as he is crossing the finish line.
The story concerns a hare who ridicules a slow-moving tortoise and is challenged by him to a race. The hare soon leaves the tortoise behind and, confident of winning, decides to take a nap midway through the course. When he awakes, however, he finds that his competitor, crawling slowly but steadily, has arrived before him. The meaning is morally problematic and the story has been interpreted in a variety of ways over the centuries.
Aesop Fable.
Great image for any children's room and a good reminder for any business man who wants to succeed. |
