TWA ariline poster , Spain - fly TWA. from the late 1950's early 1960s. this is an orginal poster from the airlines. Note that this is the earliest version with the old Constellation airplane (not the version with the jet). American illustrator, David Klein (1918-2005), created numerous award winning travel posters for TWA in the 1950s and 1960s. His colorful, modern style was a huge hit, and his iconic travel scenes are still wildly popular today. Klein's highly stylized matadors conjure up wonderful images of sunny Spain. Professionally restored and linen backed. Lithographic colors are still very bright. |
