Igor I Sikorsky early became the chamion of the large mukti-engine airplane. He designed and constrcuted a huge four engine biplane which he called the "Grand". It was by far the largest airplane in the world at the time. The wing span was nearly 100 feet and four r100 h.p. Engines furnished the power. |
