Rochet Schneider (F) manufactured cars (and racing cars for some years) from 1894-1932 and commercial vehicles till 1951. In the early days, Rochet Schneider was also made under license by 1. Théophile Schneider was one of the founders at Rochet Schneider. In 1910 he started making his own cars at Besançon, whereas the Rochet Schneider factory was in Lyon. Théophile Schneider made cars till 1929, a time when many companies folded after the great Wall Street Crash.
