This little gent is dressed up like Napoleon. He poses gallantly on his white wooden horse. His charming, female companion salutes him. It is difficult to find such adorable children in vintage posters. This poster was originally created to advertise a well-known Parisian store for toys and New Year's gifts. This is plate 207 from the Maitres de L'Affiche (Masters of the Poster) series. |
