Bieres Laubenheimer
Here we find beloved King Henry IV on his famous white horse. He is promoting Laubenheimer, an obscure southwestern French beer. This king's image has been used to advertise everything from chocolate to bouillon cubes, from liquor to bikes and back again. Using his image to promote a French product is more than intelligent niche marketing; it's a grand tradition. [PAI-XLI, 498]
The poster is in excellent condition, and it is archivally linen mounted. The full borders have not been trimmed. |
