To Have and To Hold Buy War Bonds. The 4th, 5th, and 6th war loan drives of 1944 raised nearly $59 billion. It was the 6th war loan which netted the record breaking amount of $21.5 billion. Many posters like this one were printed to encourage the sale of bonds.
