Original, linen backed U. S. Naval Aviation Training Division, October, 1942, Douglas "Dauntless" dive bomber. Known as the Navy SBD - 3, 4, 5 or the Army A-24; or the U. K. A-24 Dive Bomber. Wing span 41' 6 1/8" ; length 32' a 1/4" and features a tapering fuselage. Bottom corner has 'restricted' and the right side has a scale representing the size of the plane in comparison to a 6 foot man. |
