In 1955, the artist created four beautifully-rendered examples of some of America's finest widlife-a ten-point buck, the swift rabbit, the graceful pheasant and the resouceful squirrel-dominate the foreground of these posters, it's clear that they are inteded to be little more than target practice for the background's tiny hunter and his trusty Winchester Western rifle. |
