Over 200 miles per hour International Air Races St. Louis ~ October 1-2-3.
Aeronautical exhibition Aero Congress Air Institute Veilved Prophet.
This event was held at Lambert Field, Bridgeton, Missouri in Ocober of 1923 and was labled as "One of the greatest aeronautic events of the world...." On the main race day it was noted that 140,000 spectators were in attendance and the cost of putting on the races was 300,000 dollars.
This authentic poster features two biplanes going around a tower with spectators in the grand stands. A couple and a photographer are featured in the lower right forground.
