Original French World War 1 stone lithograph poster for the National War loans. This image shows a woman and her children waving goodbye to her husband as he marches off to war. One of the boys has a sword in his hand while the little girl waves a small French flag. The artist was also a cartoonist of recognized ability, whose work has artistic merit as well as popular appeal.
