Created for Christmas 1944, this poster has not only an American spirit in it with the Liberty Bell present, but also adds the holiday spirit in there by having the Liberty Bell hanging from a mantel with holy. Additional bells of crate paper hang from the mantel, and in the middle of the poster is a $100 War Bond. The best present of all is a War Bond to give this Christmas is what they are trying to portray, “Give a War Bond”. |
